and they shall

service as wedding officiant

Picture
I believe that a Jewish wedding is a sacred union of two individuals who become a Jewish family.  It is my honor to serve as the officiant for Jewish wedding ceremonies and to serve as a guide to people who are preparing to join their lives in commitment and love.

Partners in Creating a Jewish Family

I happily officiate at weddings between people of all genders and sexualities.  As well, I believe that two people can create a Jewish family whether one or both of them are Jewish.

Preparing for Wedding

I meet with all wedding couples several times prior to the wedding.  During this time, we get to know each other and work to design the wedding service.  As well, I am trained as a premarital counselor, and I work with couples on emotional and psychological readiness for marriage.

Wedding Service

There are many components of a Jewish wedding.  For me, some are essential (chuppah, rings, ketubah) and some are adornments (veiling, circling, breaking the glass).  I work with every couple individually to design a personal, meaningful, and transformative wedding ritual.
